  Bankston Cemetery is a very old cemetery that is no longer active. It is located just off an unpaved road in a very rural part of Choctaw Co. MS. It is all that remains of the town, Bankston, which was a thriving "industrial" town before the Civil War. The Yankees burned the cotton mill and after the war, the town died.
